A high skill in detecting patterns is a great advantage for playing Trippple! The main objective of the game is to find as many triples as possible. A triple only counts when certain, predetermined characteristics are met, so look closely and check twice - no three times!
Let's start
At first, choose the level of difficulty.
In casual mode every symbol has 3 features: shape, color and amount.
In expert mode a forth feature is added: fill. Furthermore a larger playing field is used.
You can play Trippple live or turn-based. As challenger you can choose the mode to play.
To play live, both players have to be online at the same time and choose this option.
In turn-based mode each player plays independently and the results are compared when the last player finishs his game.
Additionally you have the possibility to practice in train mode before you start the real game.

The main objective of the game is to find as many triples as possible within the given time.
Triples
What is a triple?
A triple consists of exactly 3 symbols with certain features (color, shape, amount and fill). Each feature has to be 3 times completely different or 3 times completely equal.

In casual mode you can ignore fill, because all symbols use the same.
Examples
Valid triples
All 3 symbols have equal color, amount and shape and each has a different fill.
All 3 symbols have totally different colors, shapes and amount and exactly the same fill.
All 3 symbols have totally different colors, shapes, amount and fill.
Invalid triples
All 3 symbols have totally different colors and exactly the same shape and amount. Two of them use the same fill but the third one differs in that feature.
All 3 symbols have equal shape and amount and totally different fills. Two of them have the same color but the third one differs in that feature.
Gameplay
Find as many triples as possible within the given time. To select a triple just tapclick on the 3 symbols. The order doesn't matter, as long as all features are correct, the triple will be removed from the playing field and you gain a point. If the triple was not correct you will loose a point!
There is always a triple to find, so check patiently!
In the upper part of the game is the timer. The game ends as soon as the timer is empty. In live mode or as second player you can see a marker on the timer, representing your opponent.
Selecting valid triples adds a bit of time. That means the faster you, are the more time you have!
Train mode
In train mode you can practise step by step how to find a triple.
If you already selected two symbols, you can tapclick on a feature to remove all tiles that do not meet this feature.
Example:
You have selected two triangular symbols, the third one has to be triangular as well. Selecting the feature 'shape' will remove all circles and hexagons.
If you select 3 symbols, that do not form a valid trippple, a tick and an X will mark whether a feature is met or not.
If you cannot find any triples, you can use the hint button to help. Press the button to select the first symbol, additionally the feature of this symbol will be shown in the upper bar. You can now select fitting tiles or use the button again.
End of game
The game ends as soon as the timer is empty. All completely marked triples will count as one point each. The player with the highest score is the winner.
Revenge
All players can make their first move simultaneously. So the player who starts the revenge can start to play.
